View the Helderberg from the deck of a boat: cruises leave daily from Gordon’s Bay Harbour and Harbour Island.
The 4km road from Gordon’s Bay to the dam situated on top of the Hottentots Holland mountain range offers magnificent views of the Helderberg. The dam is surrounded by 1200 hectares of pine plantations within which lie several secluded picnic areas, braai spots and even overnight accommodation. The waters are stocked with trout and fishing is allowed with a permit.
