When thinking of beautiful beaches in Cape Town, most people think about Clifton or Camps Bay. However, we have our own gorgeous Blue Flag beach right on our doorstep, here in Gordon’s Bay. Bikini Beach is a shady beach with crystal waters and sandy shores and without the crowds of Cape Town’s more well-known beaches. Enjoy basking in the sun or even a picnic on the shore.

2. Uncle Barry’s at Gordon’s Bay Beach

Uncle Barry’s is synonymous with Gordon’s Bay Beach. Known for their enormous ice-cream cones, Uncle Barry’s is situated right across the beach. Be prepared to stand in a queue, as they’re always busy – but it’s definitely worth the wait!

3. Scoot the Route

Experience Gordon’s Bay in a way you’ve never done before. Rent a scooter in Strand and ride along the beautiful coast of Gordon’s Bay while enjoying the fresh ocean breeze.

4. Krystal Beach Art Gallery

The beautiful Ndiza Gallery is situated at Krystal Beach Hotel where you’ll be able to purchase artwork as well as being able to engage and participate with their interactive mobile app. After admiring the beautiful artwork, enjoy a meal in their restaurant or a cocktail in their lounge.

5. Crystal Pools Hiking Trail

For those with an adventurous spirit or looking for a fun family activity, take on this hiking trail. Pack in some snacks and your swimming costumes to enjoy the lovely crystal pools and waterfalls. Just remember to bring your permit which can be purchased at the Pitstop Grill Shack.
